The coupling supplies can be divided into different types: outer wheel (pump wheel) drive type, inner wheel (turbine) drive type; single-cavity type, double-cavity type; as well as types with brake wheels or with pulleys, etc.
1. Advantages of torque-limited fluid coupling
◆ Improve the starting capability of squirrel cage motors, use motor peak torque as starting torque to avoid overloading problem.
◆ Shorten motor starting time and reduce starting current during this process.
◆ Prevent power overload, thus protect the motor from the damage caused by it.
◆ Reduce vibration and impact during starting.
◆ In multi-drive, it can ensure the motors to start separately, realize power balance, and provide a starting torque limited to 1.2~1.6 times the rated torque as starting torque.
◆ Have simple and reliable structure, rare mechanical wear, thus no special maintenance required.
◆ Stand harsh working environment.
2. Applications

3. Characteristics
(1) Types, varieties and specifications of torque-limited fluid couplings:
◆ According to the transmission medium: mineral oil type or water-filled type, the installation axial lengths are the same, the parts can be interchangeable.
◆ According to the driving form: outer wheel (pump wheel) drive--YOX series; inner wheel (turbine wheel) drive--YOXn series.
◆ According to cavity type: single cavity type --YOX series; double cavity type --YOXD series.
◆ Structural classification by starting time: YOP series without rear auxiliary chamber; YOX series of ordinary type; YOXV series with extended rear auxiliary chamber; YOXvvs series with extended rear auxiliary chamber and enlarged side auxiliary chamber.
◆ According to the transmission characteristics: YOXP series with pulleys; YOXIIZ and YOXNZ series with brake wheels.
◆ According to the disassembly mode: YOXA series with elastic sleeve pin coupling type.

(3) Model
The fluid coupling model is in accordance with GB/T5837-2008 .
1.The couplings that are driven by external wheels and using mineral oil as working medium are not remarked by any code or letter.
2. Model:
